- Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018
- The two fighters remain bitter rivals after the fight
- The UFC has released new footage of the bout
Unseen footage has shown exactly what was said between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor during their fight six years ago.
The UFC legends met in a bitter grudge match back in 2018 for the lightweight championship, with the bout registering a record 2.4million pay-per-view buys.
The build up to the fight was littered with ugly moments, including McGregor attacking a bus which contained Nurmagomedov, plus disparaging remarks about the Dagestani’s religion.
Nurmagomedov got the last laugh in the Octagon, however, submitting McGregor with a neck crank in the fourth round before launching a wild attack on the Irishman’s team in the aftermath.
And in never-before-seen footage, UFC fans have heard exactly what Nurmagomedov said to McGregor immediately after securing a resounding victory.
He shouted: ‘I f***ed you up, b****,’ before appearing to spit in the former champion’s direction.
Fans have taken to social media to reflect on the eye-opening new footage.
‘Khabib is a menace,’ one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

‘Can’t believe I’ve never noticed the spit before,’ said a second fan. ‘You can see him wind up that bad boy and everything.’
A third fan joked: ‘Hawk Tuah spit on that thang.’
Nurmagomedov fought only twice after his victory over McGregor, citing a promise made to his mother following the death of his father as he announced his retirement.
It means the Irishman will never avenge his chastening defeat in Las Vegas.
One fan reflected on that brutal reality, saying: ‘This haunts and will haunt him [McGregor] all his life. Knowing full and well he can’t get revenge.’
