Jake Paul has hit back at Tommy Fury after he called him out on Instagram on Tuesday morning.
Fury, 25, is looking for a new opponent having pulled out of his bout with ex-UFC fighter Darren Till last week following a series of toxic outbursts between the pair.
They were scheduled to meet at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on January 18, but Fury dropped out after Till claimed he would kick him in the head.
Fury’s last fight was a unanimous decision win against YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI in October last year but he was unwilling to enter the ring with a man he deems a maverick.
Paul mocked Fury following the news, while his brother Logan also weighed in on the matter and insisted the 25-year-old was ‘pathetic’ and claimed he ‘wasn’t man enough’ to take on Jake again, who he beat last year.
However, Fury bit back on Instagram and slammed both the Paul brothers.

But Jake hit back at Tommy, who he lost to last year, and labelled him an ‘absolute muppet’
‘So I just woke up and I saw Logan Paul talking on his podcast about how I don’t want to fight Jake (Paul) and that I’m running scared,’ he said in a video with the caption: ‘Why can’t you just get over the loss.’
‘I saw Jake tweet the other day about how he offered me XYZ (to fight) on Netflix. I just wanted to come on here and say no-ones running from that fight.
‘I beat you once already, I handed you your first loss. The minute you stepped up and fought a real boxer you lost, fair and square.
‘I can give you a second loss, that’s not a problem but let’s talk some serious numbers down the phone.’
Fury continued: ‘If you want to get in touch you know where I am. It’s as easy as that.
‘I can come back after a year and beat the pair of you so at the end of the day if you want to fight let’s talk some serious numbers, you know where I am.’
Fury has won all 10 of his professional bouts, with one of those victories being a split decision victory over Paul in Saudi Arabia in February 2023 – a result that remains the only defeat of the Youtuber-turned-boxer’s 12-fight career.
The bad blood didn’t stop there however as Paul then took the X to throw his own insults at Fury.

‘What an absolute muppet,’ the 27-year-old said. ‘Buddy you just pulled out of a fight for the 3rd time. You have ZERO credibility.
‘I offered you $8million (£6.28m) and you ran away from it. And now you got dumped by Molly, getting sued by DAZN and still can’t call a shot without your dad. GTFOH.’
The comments that riled up both fighters came after Logan Paul had been speaking on his IMPAULSIVE podcast.
He had said: ‘Tommy won’t fight Jake. Granted, if Tommy’s man enough one day and he wants to fight Jake again, which, you know, for the right amount of money, maybe he’ll do it. That would be awesome.
‘And I know Jake would like that opportunity, but he doesn’t need it. And for Tommy Fury, a man in a boxing family, to act like him beating a YouTuber in a split decision by one point is any sort of massive victory is just pathetic to me.
‘And if he were actually about it and wanted to prove that he is the real boxer, he’d fight Jake again.’
Meanwhile, explaining the decision to pull out of his fight with Till last Friday, Fury had said: ‘For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is losing the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics.
‘I am a professional boxer, I have been out of the ring for over a year and I wanted this to be a great BOXING fight for the fans. I have wasted weeks in training camp.

‘We are working hard to get a new opponent and date. I promise to get a better opponent and better fight for you guys. Good news around the corner.’
The outspoken Till was quick to respond to Fury, labelling him and father John ‘s***houses’ and insisting that he didn’t need to ‘throw kicks’ to win the contest.
‘I was selling the fight to make me and you more money you absolute empty head fighting family my a** you and ur dad s***houses,’ Till wrote on X.
‘I don’t need to throw kicks you was getting knocked spark out you divvy we was making bank on this fight cos of me not you.
‘I was building it you should be fighting and should be thanking me. Over and out… no one wants to fight me… Jake Paul what are you up to you big fat dummy?’
