Conor McGregor has alluded to the idea that he is not pleased with the UFC and how long it is taking them to decide a new date for his fight with Michael Chandler.
The duo were set to step into the Octagon to take on one another for UFC 303 on June 29.
However the fight was postponed after the Irishman suffered a toe injury days before the bout the which ruled him out.
McGregor’s last fight was way back in 2021 against Dustin Poirier, where ‘The Notorious’ suffered a serious leg break in the first round against the American fighter and since then fans have eagerly anticipated his return.
It seems as though McGregor himself is also rearing to go, as he took to his social media to hint he was ready to fight and just waiting for the date to be decided.

McGregor has not fought in the Octagon since he suffered a leg break during his fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021
McGregor shared a video both on his Instagram story and his page which showed the 36-year-old sparring with a punching bag.
He captioned the post #FREETHEMAC.
This isn’t the first time that McGregor has gone onto social media to voice his displeasure over the delay in rearranging his fight with Chandler.
A few weeks ago he angrily took to social media to suggest a date after Dana White, the President of the UFC revealed that the pair wouldn’t fight before the end of the year.
Which warranted this response from the former Ultimate Fighting Championship Featherweight and Lightweight Champion.
‘Ah Dana, December is the date! Bring the calendar year home with a winning event,’ the Irishman wrote in a now-deleted post on X.
‘Come on now, what’s this? I am off to altitude next month to prepare.’ he added.
Both fighters are eager to fight another and have asked the UFC to schedule the date for this year
Soon after McGregor’s initial post his opponent Chandler responded to the proposed date by commenting ‘December it is’ followed by the shaking hands emoji.
Although the two men have ‘agreed’ a date, there has been no set date agreed by the UFC.
And after McGregor and Chandler’s social media exchange, Dana White broke his silence telling Sportsnet ‘You can imagine after I said that Conor was blowing me up going ‘I’m definitely fighting this year!’
‘When we get to a point where we’re setting a fight, and I believe that a Conor McGregor fight is going to happen. I will announce it.
‘As of right now, I believe that Conor will not fight this year. Conor’s saying he wants the fight in December, we’ll see how it plays out.’
