In a series of tweets on Tuesday afternoon, troubled boxer Ryan Garcia has declared himself ‘free’ following a Los Angeles arrest.
The boxer even started a campaign to ‘free’ him despite claims that he had been released from jail on Monday.
On Twitter, Garcia released a number of posts that said he was free from jail – which he described as ‘three days in hell’.
‘I’m FREEEE I got a lot to say official statement soon God bless you all RG BACK,’ Garcia said in the first of a series of posts.

The rest of the series read as follows: ‘3 days in hell is no joke I got hit with medicine And I kept my mind in tact THANK THE LORD.
‘I also want to say moving forward I’m going to be a better example and take care of my self much better I’ll always going to be me and going after evil But I will become a better example praise the Lord Jesus.
‘I want to thank everyone for the prayers and all the ones giving me good energy Kept me strong in their, there is going to be much more battles ahead But we learned a lot of lessons from this and I took a lot from this Praise the Lord.’
It’s not clear if these tweets are a celebration of him being out of jail or an indicator that the charges against him have been dropped.
The 25-year-old, who tested positive for PEDs following his upset victory over Devin Haney in April, went on to compare himself to Donald Trump and Britney Spears following his arrest over the weekend.
‘Kinda funny both trump and I are in jail,’ he said. ‘I don’t know if he is in jail but I know he got convicted. This sucks, But I love Jesus I will be okay.’

In a separate post, Garcia also wrote: ‘I feel like I’m Ryan Spears. Aka Britney Spears. This sucks. I never hurt anyone I’ve only ever loved everyone prayed for people. And try to make a change in this cruel world. I love you Christ Jesus Amen.’
Garcia beat Haney earlier this year, albeit after coming in almost four pounds overweight, yet his erratic conduct in the buildup led many to question if he was mentally stable enough to fight.
It then emerged after his victory that he had tested positive for banned substance Ostarine the day before and the day of the bout. His requested B-sample also came back positive.
However, his team claim the B-sample results prove their man is innocent, insisting he is simply the victim of supplement contamination.
TMZ reported last week that Garcia was subject to a welfare check by police at the same hotel after a call from a concerned family member.
Officers apparently determined that he was fine and it was the end of the matter.
